Graduation Project, HKU
Move Me wants people to think about their loved ones, whether they live nearby or far away. You get the opportunity to get to know twelve different people. Without you, the installation is incomplete: it moves when you move, stands still when you do. Hopefully it also does something else: she moves you with her stories.
The journey throughout the project was just as important as the result. I understood my love for spaces more; learned about other people's experiences, and learned more about my own background. This project was a big collaboration, where I asked people from different disciplines to share their views about the subject. In the project trailer you see the outcome of these collaborations presented in two expositions and in my logbook my thought processes.
